Announcements
If you do not intend to take summer courses you previously enrolled in, it is important that you officially drop the courses by the first day each course starts to avoid being financially responsible for paying for them.
Summer 2024 General Information
Summer 2024 charges are available to view in WVU MyAccount (via the WVU Portal). If you owe a balance, you will receive a billing notification to your MIX email (via your WVU Portal) in early to mid-April . Payment for summer charges is due May 1. You will not receive a billing notification if you have paid your fees, established a payment plan, have a sponsor paying your fees, or have enough aid to cover your charges.
Please note that the charges outlined in your billing notification are subject to change if you make adjustments to things like your course schedule, dining plan, or housing arrangements. Be sure to monitor your WVU MyAccount (via the WVU Portal) for the most up-to-date balance.
Parents with Authorized User access to billing information will be able to view their student's charges and make regular online payments on behalf of their student via the WVU MyAccount Login website. More information and instructions on being granted Authorized User access are available on our Tutorials webpage.
Note: eBills will also be sent in May and June to students who have a balance due at that time.
To avoid late payment fees, by May 1, students should do one or more of the following:
- Pay their charges in full
- Enroll in a payment plan
- Secure sufficient financial aid to cover their balance
How You Can Find Your Balance Due
You can see your balance due in a few ways.
- Log into your WVU Portal to see if you have a balance due
- View details on your charges and balance due through WVU MyAccount via your WVU Portal and clicking on the "PAY YOUR BILL HERE!" button, or for parents/guests with Authorized User access, through their WVU MyAccount Login website for Authorized Users. - If you owe a balance, you will receive a notification to your MIX email (via the WVU Portal) toward the beginning of each month

Pay Your Balance Due by the Payment Deadline

Enroll in a Tuition Payment Plan
A tuition payment plan allows you to break up your balance due into smaller, more manageable payments rather than paying your total balance all at once. The first payment and $35 enrollment fee due at sign up followed by payments on the first of each month.
Summer 2024
Sign up between March 28 and April 15 to make 3 payments.
- Down Payment: Due at time of signing up (plus $35 enrollment fee).
- First Installment Payment: Due by May 1.
- Second Installment Payment: Due by June 1.
Sign up between April 16 and May 15 to make 2 payments.
- Down Payment: Due at time of signing up (plus $35 enrollment fee).
- First Installment Payment: Due by June 1.
